Mademoiselle Simone founded Germauld perfumes in Paris in 1947.
It was important to her to work in the heart of the most beautiful city in the world.
She wanted her studio to be located where she could admire the Seine, it's quays and it's bridges. She chose the rue de Pyramides, near the Louvre and the Jardin des Tuileries.
It is the Parisian décor that truly inspired her creations. Each of her fragrances was influenced by this city.
It could have been the perfume of elegance emanating from the greatest Parisian fashion houses or the joyful, lively fragrance of a jazz concert in Saint Germain-des-Près.

Today, the spirit of Mademoiselle Simone lives on in GERMAULD PARIS 1947.
Each of our fragrance creations is inspired by Paris, it's magic and it's timeless beauty.
